I have been compelled to express the energy labeled music for practically my entire life. I began guitar lessons at the tender age of five and have never looked back. I have gone on to complete my ARCT diploma for classical guitar from the Royal Conservatory of Music, as well as a Specialized Honors Degree in Music from York University with emphasis on classical guitar performance as well as composition.
To round out my studies, I further pursued an intensive study of jazz performance for guitar as well as composition with some very prominent local jazz musicians.
As a composer, I have had the opportunity to express the idiom of light labeled music, in many different genres.
I have always believed that a well-rounded composer, who is able to compose in different styles, demonstrates a true ability of his craft. Furthermore, I have quite the affinity to compose orchestral type music, with the belief that this form of music precisely exemplifies the depth of understanding of the use of sonorities, or if you will vibrations, of the composer.
It has long been established through the science of physics, that music is of course vibration. We also know for that matter, that color is vibration. Many composers will feel the combination of instruments (referred to as instrumentation) as an array of color and will decide upon the configuration of sonorities to establish a particular mood, to create a certain scenario, or to heighten a motif of thought.
Having said this, we also know that the division of white light creates the colors of the rainbow. That is to say, as a particular wave of light hits the physical world, the array of molecules will vibrate at a particular frequency, which enables us to interpret that wave as the various primary colors of the rainbow. There certainly is no coincidence that as we divide light and determine the length of frequency which determines a particular shade of the rainbow; that there exists an equal amount of primary musical notes used in the diatonic scale found in Western music. One will find that the absorption of light in physical matter, clearly enables us to determine what an object might be as it is felt.
Therefore, I have chosen to express light through the mechanism of music in order to fully establish my solidification of this light.
It is obvious that the vibrations emanating from my compositions cannot be felt by touch, yet may be felt through the inner senses.
All of us exude an electro-magnetic energy field that is often referred to as an aura.
Our aura also vibrates and creates color as well as sound. This implies that all of us as a whole, that is to say humanity as a consciousness, create the symphonic consonance or dissonance of the universe.
Each of us represents a particular note in the great symphony, of the greatest composer ever, that is God.
I share with you here an understanding of this creation, through the compositions written from my individuation of light.
